East Herts Donates to Keech Cottage

On 16th April 2008 W Bro Michael Dennis presented a cheque, on behalf of the East Hertfordshire Lodge for £530, to Keech Cottage Children's Hospice.

The hospice supports families from across Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire who are caring for a child or young person diagnosed with a life limiting condition. Such illnesses sadly prevent most of these young people from reaching adulthood.

The staff offer medical and social care, emotional support and friendship to the whole family, throughout the child's illness and after their death, for as long as it is needed. This valuable care is provided free of charge to families in need, regardless of race, religion or culture.
